Questions about the Show
At Medieval Times, we offer a boisterous, family-friendly experience inspired by an 11th-century feast and tournament. You’ll be served a 4-course banquet as you cheer for one of six knights competing in the joust and other tests of skill.
Prepare for 2 hours of adventure set in Medieval Spain. Highly trained knights will joust and show off their swordsmanship in hand-to-hand combat, along with displays of horsemanship and majestic falconry.
Medieval Times is based upon authentic Medieval history and is the true story of a noble family with documentation dating back to the 11th Century.
We welcome our adult guests to imbibe at our vast bar, while everyone can procure goods at our gift shop, and peruse medieval artifacts in the Hall of Arms.
It is! Children under the age of 3 are admitted free as long as they sit on adults’ laps and eat from their plate. If you prefer the child to have his or her own seat and meal then the child rate would apply.
The show is approximately two hours long.

Certainly, for accessible seating, let our staff know upon arrival that you require accessible seating and we will make accommodations. When purchasing tickets online, you may also check “Show me ADA/Accessible Seating” and we will reserve your accessible seating ahead of time.
Your confirmation email will include details on when our Castle doors open. Seating is first-come, first-served and will be assigned based on your package selection and group size. We recommend arriving when the doors open to obtain the best seats in your seating section and avoid long entrance lines. Once inside our Hall of Arms, you’ll be able to enjoy our gift shops, full-service bar, and authentic medieval artifacts.
The dress code for our Castles is casual – please feel free to come ready for feasting, fighting, and fun! As our Castles are indoor and climate-controlled, some guests prefer to bring a light sweater or jacket. We ask that you refrain from hats or headdresses that may block the view of other guests during the tournament or masks/costumes that cover your face in its entirety.
We do, visit our gift shop to browse merchandise, including costumes and medieval toy weapons.
Questions about Tickets
Seating at the Castles is limited and reservations are strongly recommended. Our online ticketing allows for viewing of showtimes as well as purchase of tickets and enhancement packages. Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, and American Express are accepted.

With the exception of our Toronto Castle, all Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Castles offer free on-site car, bus and handicapped parking. At our Toronto castle, public parking lots are available on the grounds. Seasonal rates apply.
Different packages contain different features, like photos or cake for every guest. You’ll see the package options and features available when you select “Buy Tickets.”

Our tickets are non-refundable, but you can reschedule them for another day, pending availability. Ticket reschedule fees apply. Please contact us at 888-935-6878 with your preferred reschedule date and our team can assist.
As long as the show (or your selected package) is not sold out, we can definitely add guests to your reservation! Please give us a call at 888-WE-JOUST with your order number handy and our agents can assist.
In order to be seated together, we recommend making one reservation for all guests attending. To sit with a group who has a separate reservation, please have all order numbers ready when you arrive at the box office on the day of the show. Guests will only be seated with people booked with the same seating package and will be based on seat availability.

Medieval Times welcomes guests of all ages to the Castle! To enter the Castle, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests ages 16 and up may enter the Castle independently without an adult to accompany them.
We often get asked if gratuity is included in the admission price! Gratuity for your hard-working serfs and wenches is not included as a part of your ticket. You may take care of your server with a cash, credit card, or mobile tip at the end of the show.

Questions about the Food
Guests feast on garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, dessert of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages. Adult guests can enjoy alcoholic refreshments from our full-service bar. Vegetarian meals are available upon request, simply let your server know.
We sure do. The vegan meal includes a generous serving of hummus with carrot and celery sticks, a main course featuring three-bean stew with fire-roasted tomato and brown rice, and a choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert. The vegetarian option includes all of these vegan dishes along with a side of warm pita bread. If you require a vegetarian or vegan meal, please let your server know when you are seated.
Yes, gluten-free meals that are available upon request include tomato bisque soup, hummus, carrot and celery sticks, and the main course of roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn and herb-basted potato, as well as a choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert. If you require a gluten-free meal, please let your server know when you are seated.

Not with our hearty 4-course feast! We’ll even provide you with a way to take your leftovers home, should you not be able to devour it all.
Yes, we must request a photo ID for alcohol purchases. In the United States, guests must be at least 21 years old. In Canada, guests must be at least 19 years old. International guests of age will be required to show a valid, unexpired passport to purchase alcohol.
Silverware is available upon request.
For the health and safety of our guests and team members, Medieval Times does not allow outside food or beverage into our Castle. We do offer allergen, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Click here for information about our feast and alternate meal accommodations! If you are celebrating with us, we offer cake by the slice and would be happy to assist you with adding this to your reservation.

We offer a few options for meet-and-greets! After the last show of the day in every Castle, our Knights return to the Hall of Arms to meet and greet guests. Additionally, prior to the start of the show, guests may participate in a Knighting Ceremony conducted by a member of our cast. The ceremony is available for purchase when you select your tickets.
